But You Continue...

“But you continue in the things which you have learned and have been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned.” 2 Timothy 3:14

My name is Jessica Kruidhof. Nine years ago I attended a junior high school mountain retreat. In that retreat we enjoyed the ministry of Watchman Nee and Witness Lee. Impressed with the word on leaving the worldly things to live fully for Christ, I consecrated myself and my life to the Lord Jesus.

Since then, I graduated in the top ten percent of my class at Troy High School and went on to gain a bachelor's degree cum laude in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Texas in Austin, all the time living the Lord the best that I could. I am currently completing my first year at the Full-Time Training established by Witness Lee. Although I am given to my studies and family, my life has one priority: to be pleasing to the Father.

I cannot say enough about how much I appreciate the sacrifice Watchman Nee and Witness Lee have poured out to the Lord. The ministry He entrusted to these two Christian brothers has been a great aid in unveiling God and His eternal plan to me through the Bible. I take life too seriously to be content with only knowing God on a superficial level. Thus, I appreciate that our brothers did not stop at expounding the more common sections of the Bible, but searched to gain a view of God's desire and plan from Genesis to Revelation. And yet, in their ministry concerning God's entire plan, they do not fail to point us to the basic factor and supply of our Christian life, that is our personal relationship with the Lord.

I have found their ministry to be not only enlightening, balanced, and life supplying, but most of all, centered on Christ. When I read their books, I am led to love the Lord Jesus Christ more because I see His Person and Work and I am helped to experience and contact Him in my daily life. By the Lord's mercy, I hope to continue in all the things I have learned from my brothers Watchman Nee and Witness Lee.
